How do I install it?
Open Figma, go to Plugins (or Resources) and search for MotionShot Text, then click Run. While it is in development: Plugins → Development → Import plugin from manifest.
How do I unlock Pro?
Buy Pro on Gumroad. Your licence key is on the receipt and in your Gumroad library. In the plugin, click Pro in the top bar, paste the key and press Activate.
Can I use my key on two computers?
Yes, if both are yours. A key is for one person. Please don't share it with other people or a team; each person needs their own subscription.
How do I cancel?
From your Gumroad library, or email us and we will do it. Pro stays on until the month you paid for ends.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final, so please try the free plan first. There are a few cases where we always put things right; see the refund policy.
Figma Motion export made static layers. Why?
Figma Motion is still in beta and not every Figma version has it. When it is missing, the plugin places editable layers instead. GIF and video exports work everywhere.
My font is cut off or looks different.
Pick the font again from the font menu. Fonts that the plugin cannot draw are marked, and swashes and shadows get extra room automatically. If it still looks wrong, send us the font name below.
Is my work uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your computer inside Figma. See the privacy policy.
Can I use the animations for client work?
Yes. You own what you make, including for commercial use. See the terms.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? inside the plugin to see them all. The most useful: Space play/pause, S split a clip, [ ] trim, Alt + drag duplicate, Ctrl/Cmd + Z undo, Ctrl/Cmd + D duplicate.
