Make a 3D product mockup for social media
Import your model, pick the 1:1 or 9:16 canvas, light it, apply a camera preset and export a still or a short loop. Nothing uploads, so unreleased product shots stay on your machine.

How to do it
- Open the MeshShot web app and import a
.glb,.objor.fbx, or extrude an SVG logo. - Set the canvas ratio first: 1:1 for a feed post, 9:16 for stories and reels. Framing after you pick the ratio saves doing it twice.
- Choose a background. A soft gradient or a 360 environment gives the product something to reflect.
- Apply a camera preset such as the 360 turntable, or build your own move on the timeline.
- Export a PNG for a still post, or a GIF or MP4 for a loop.
Social crops hard and plays muted, so a product mockup has about a second to read. That argues for a tight frame, one clear light direction and a background that contrasts with the product rather than competing with it. A slow quarter turn usually reads better than a fast full spin: it shows the form without the viewer feeling the loop restart.
Good to know: Check the render at thumbnail size before exporting. A shot that looks detailed at full size often turns to grey mush in a feed, and the fix is almost always a brighter rim light and a simpler background.
Questions
Which size should I export?
Match the platform: 1080x1080 for a square feed post, 1080x1920 for stories or reels.
Is my product model uploaded?
No. The file is read from your disk and rendered on your own GPU, which matters for an unreleased product.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes for PNG, WebP and GIF. No video format carries real transparency, so MeshShot renders a matching matte alongside the video instead.
