MeshShot terms and conditions
Last updated: 17 September 2026
The short version. Use MeshShot for anything you like, including commercial and client work. What you create is yours. Don't resell MeshShot itself or share your licence key. We provide the tool as-is and can't be liable for what you do with it.
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of MeshShot (the "Service"), operated by ProFigma ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. The Service
MeshShot is a browser-based tool for framing, animating and exporting 3D models. It runs on your own device; we do not host, receive or store the files you work with.
A free tier is available without payment or registration. A paid subscription unlocks video rendering, GIF rendering, the code export and the 3D model download.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to everything you bring in and everything you produce. We claim no ownership, licence or interest in your models, textures, images, animations or exports.
You are responsible for having the rights to any model, texture or image you use. Do not use the Service with material you are not permitted to use.
4. What you may do with the output
Renders, videos, GIFs, image sequences and exported code are yours to use without restriction, including:
- commercial projects, advertising and marketing;
- client work, including work you are paid for;
- products you sell, and content you publish anywhere.
No attribution is required, though it is always appreciated.
5. Licence
5.1 What you get
A paid subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the paid features of MeshShot, and of the accompanying Figma plugin, as a single individual, for as long as your subscription is active.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly, every three months or every two years) and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Gumroad library. Cancelling stops future renewals; the paid features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the free features keep working after that.
5.2 One licence, one person
Your licence covers you personally and you may use it on the devices you personally use. It does not cover other people. If several people in an organisation need it, each needs a licence, contact us about team pricing.
5.3 What you may not do
- Share, publish, sell or sub-license your licence key.
- Resell, rent or redistribute the Service, or offer it as your own hosted service.
- Attempt to circumvent the licensing, or distribute means of doing so.
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices in the Service or in exported code.
We may deactivate a licence that is being shared or otherwise used in breach of these terms.
5.4 Exported code
Code produced by the code export is yours to use, modify and deploy in your own and your clients' projects, with no restriction and no attribution required. The generated player incorporates and depends on three.js, which is separately licensed under the MIT licence by its own authors; your use of it is subject to that licence.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Gumroad as merchant of record. Their terms apply to the transaction itself. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change for new subscriptions. We will give you notice before any change to the price of a subscription you already have takes effect.
All payments are final. Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which sets out the narrow circumstances in which we will put a payment right, and preserves any statutory right you may have.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice.
Because MeshShot runs in your browser, its behaviour depends on your browser, operating system and graphics hardware. Some features, particularly high-resolution video encoding, are limited by what your machine supports. These limits are outside our control.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute material that is unlawful, that infringes anyone's rights, or that depicts a real person or organisation deceptively. You agree not to interfere with the Service or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any related system.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its interface, its source code and the MeshShot and ProFigma names and marks remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers them to you.
10. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any particular output will meet your requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or work, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of applicable law, including claims that material you used infringes a third party's rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be posted here before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers retain any right to bring proceedings where they are resident.
