GLB vs glTF
They are the same format in two packages. A .gltf file is text that points to separate texture and data files. A .glb file contains everything in one binary file. For sharing, GLB is simpler.

- Files never uploaded
- Free to start
How they differ
- .gltf: a readable JSON file plus separate image and data files. Easy to inspect and edit by hand.
- .glb: one self-contained binary file. Nothing can go missing when you send it.
- Support: most tools, including MeshShot, read both.
If you are a developer who wants to read or edit the file, use glTF. If you are sending the model to a client or uploading it somewhere, use GLB.
Good to know: If a .gltf shows up without textures, the image files were not copied along with it.
